OKBet Sports: UST Women’s Basketball Wins in UAAP Return

After a three-year absence from the UAAP women’s basketball tournament, the UST still looked like the championship contender that it is after beating Adamson with a score of 106-70 on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The game took place in the return of the tournament.

The Golden Tigresses quickly stepped on the gas and opened up a lead of 30-10 after the first quarter of the first UAAP women’s basketball game that took place during the 2019 pandemic caused by the coronavirus disease.

The Tigresses displayed their superiority once more in the second half, and the Lady Falcons were never able to catch up after that. The Lady Falcons managed to get their offense going in the second quarter, and they cut the lead to 14 points (48-34) at the break.
